Actress Bhagyashree feels Alia Bhatt would be perfect for ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ remake

and Bhagyashree is one of the cult classic films we have in Bollywood.
The film and songs of the iconic movie are still one of the most loved
amongst the movie buffs.Yesterday, on December 29, as the movie
successfully completed 30 glorious years, actress Bhagyashree was asked
which current Bollywood actress she would prefer to play her character
if the film is ever remade. Replying to the same, Bhagyashree reportedly
said that she has a soft heart for Alia Bhatt. According to her, she’s
fantastic and portrays innocence through her eyes, and that’s the way
she looks at her character ‘Suman’ in the movie. The actress also
clarified that she is not personally a fan of remakes. She feels that
some things needs to be left untouched. According to her, there is a lot
of pressure on those making and performing it, to be compared
constantly with what has been declared a cult films, like ‘Sholay’,
‘Don’ and ‘Mughal-e-Azam’.Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt has
some interesting projects in her kitty which includes, Ayan Mukerji’s
‘Brahmastra’, Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Sadak 2’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s
‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, and SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’.
