Nina Mehta died in 2014.
Her brother Sudhir Shah said, “Rajendraji was suffering from chest infection and kidney failure. We had admitted him to Bhatia Hospital but took him home as he showed signs of recovery. Sadly he passed away at 5 am.”
The last rites were conducted at Chandanwadi crematorium by son Neeraj.

Noted ghazal singer Rajendra Mehta, 85, passed away at his Pedder Road residence Wednesday.
