a double celebration for Deepika Padukone! The talented actress, who is
still savouring the success of her recently released film 'Padmaavat'
has yet another reason to rejoice. Her father and ace badminton champion
Prakash Padukone was honoured with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ by
the Badminton Association of India on Monday. The prestigious award was
presented to him by the Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu in
Delhi.
On the happy occasion, the senior Padukone was accompanied by his wife Ujala Padukone and daughters Deepika and Anisha.
The 'Padmaavat' actress looked elegant in a burnt pink raw silk saree. She opted for a low bun and exquisite jewellery to complete her look. Her mother and sister also donned traditional attires and the three beamed with pride as their main man received the award. Pictures from the event even saw the actress getting emotional while her father was presented with the honour.

‘Padmavati’), has now been sealed. Bringing a final close to the
unending wait for its release, the film has now been reportedly
scheduled to release on January 25, 2018.
However, if the reports are anything to go by, the film will clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘PadMan’ which is expected to keep the pace of Akki’s several successful patriotic mood films like ‘Airlift’ and ‘Baby’ going.
After reviews and discussions by a special panel and the censor board, the film has reportedly been cleared with U/A certification with runtime of 2 hours and 43 minutes. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Aiyaari’ has been pushed ahead to February 9 to avoid the clash.
